How will a nursing shortage impact patient care?

Stumbled across this nursing infographic that’s proposing a lot of points regarding a potential nursing shortage and the impact this shortage will have on patient care.

Is it too bleak? Is there a hard truth to all of it? Personally one of my favorite aspects of nursing in terms of a career is that it’s pretty stable and it’s a field that will always be there, just how we handle patients and what not changes based on advancements.

Just curious on what other nurses/readers thought of the info/theories being shared in the infographic.

The way i see it, the info-graphic only represent one side of the story. The Age of Nurses to population is however pretty evident.
