Bilateral mastectomy and blood pressure

#1

I have an elderly patient that has had both breasts removed but not at the same. One was removed about 20years ago and the other about 5 years ago. She is currently using a wrist cuff blood pressure monitor on her right wrist. With most wrist cuff BP monitors I feel that they are not accurate. I have tried taking her blood pressure on her calf’s but have not been successful at getting a reading. (User error I’m sure). The PT has dx of HTN and CVA. This is in a home setting. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.
